H.P.Hanssen - the important statesman of Denmark of the end 19 - the beginnings of 20 centuries. 
He was born in the area of Sønderjysk in which there is a presented mill.
The fund has been formed the next year after death of Hanssen.


Dybbol (German: Düppel) is a small settlement in the southeastern corner of South Jutland, Denmark. It is around 6 km (4 miles) west of Sonderborg. The Dybbol Mill is considered a Danish national symbol.


Dybbol Mølle (mill) was built in 1744. In 1800 it was struck by lightning and burnt to the ground. It was immediately rebuilt. During both the Slesvig wars 1848-50 and 1864 it was destroyed and rebuilt. After 1864 and the Danish defeat against the Preussians, the mill became a symbol of Danish stamnia in the lost country. In 1935, it burnt down once more due to a short-circuit, and was then rebuilt in it's present form. Until 1990 it was run by a number of tenants. In 1995 'Museet pa Sonderborg Slot' - The museum at Sonderborg Castle - arranged exhibitions in the granary and in the mill.
