    Additional:

Once again spanish post issues the annual solidarity stamp, collaborating with WWF Nature Protection project, with an amount equivalent to 3% of the total collected from the stamps sold.

WWF, the leading organization of this stamp and Premium Specification, has been working for the protection of nature for 50 years.

In Spain, it all started when Luc Hoffmann, Vice President of WWF in the 1960s, decided to buy land in Doñana for conservation.

During this process, the Spanish WWF delegation was created, which in its early years would be called ADENA.

Years later, Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente was named vice president and with his determination and tenacity, the organization grew in number of members and popularity. For the first time, communication and public awareness campaigns would be used, as well as projects on the ground that represented a great advance in this matter.

The Lynx Club or the young naturalist camps in Montejo de la Vega, arose under the protection of the great Rodríguez de la Fuente and managed to plant the seed of environmental protection in children throughout Spain.

The Iberian wolf, the lynx, or the birds of prey, lived protection programs and, thanks to this, today we can continue enjoying these species, although unfortunately they continue to live in danger of extinction.

Over the years, there have been many actions carried out by WWF to protect nature, submerged in new and difficult challenges such as the fight against climate change.

The stamp and the Premium Specification confront us with two realities: the end of nature and the future we want, represented by two leaves, one withered and the other green and full of life. The organization's logo and the 50th anniversary logo, together with the motto "We are nature", complete the design.
